Donate to Roodepoort SPCA

The Roodepoort Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) will host a sterilisation programme this month and need your help with donations.

The programme will take place on 12, 13 and 14 August and the Community Led Animal Welfare (Claw) has already identified the amount of dogs that will be sterilised for those days.

“Overpopulation among dogs are a major issue and we hope through this programme, we would have curbed this from happening in a small way,” said Mandy Cattanach, Senior Inspector for the SPCA.

She said the SPCA will welcome any monetary donations and any blankets, collars (for dogs weighing between 10 and 15 kilograms) and dry dog food.

The goods can be delivered personally at the Roodepoort Record or SPCA’s premises and to donate money, you can do so electronically.
