Holy day for Jews

Today Jews all over the world will participate in fasting and mourning.

Today marks a holy day for all Jewish people as they celebrate Tisha’B’Av.

Tisha’B’Av commemorates the destruction of two temples that took place about 2000 years ago.

Jewish people all over the world will participate in a communal mourning period by fasting from sunset tonight until tomorrow evening.

Because this day is sacred to Jews, they are expected to refrain from bathing, having sexual relations and wearing leather shoes.

We would like to wish all our Jewish readers well over these two days.
