Edu-Care warms up Montclare and Newlands

Teaming up with Westgate Shopping Centre staff, they gave warm soup and bread to around 150 underprivileged families.

The Edu-Care Foundation spent their 67 minutes on Friday (17 July) warming up the community of Montclare and Newlands at a housing project.

Colouring and reading books were also given to 90 children and food parcels to the 150 families, Daleen Havenga told the Record.

“People are in a greater need this year, we didn’t want to focus on just one organisation but rather on communities as a whole,” she said.
