Misunderstanding of ‘3000 teachers to be trained for free’

Since the publication of the article ‘3000 teachers to be trained for free‘ on the Record’s website on 23 June, we have been inundated with calls regarding two issues.

Firstly some readers are under the impression the Record will be training the teachers where it is indeed a programme run by the Education Department.

The second issue that arose is the link to the application form on the programme’s web page does not work, which we unfortunately have no power over.
