MULDERSDRIFT — Ordinary workers show off their star qualities at Silverstar Casino.
Contestants of the TopStars competition gave unforgettable performances at Silverstar in Muldersdrift on 9 July.
The finalists brought the house down, showing off impressive vocal abilities in solo performances, duets and groups.
“The principles and process of ensuring a good singing performance are the same principles we use for ‘success thinking’ and make it part of every TopStars experience. We teach them to look as themselves in a different light, to explore their own possibilities and believe that anything is possible,” said renowned veteran singer and TopStars producer, Mynie Grové.
Contestants had audiences on their feet as they hit the high notes with popular songs and a few classics.
The competition allows every day retail workers to access successful choices to maximise their opportunities. It is run by the Shoprite Group for their employees across the continent.
Through the process, contestants are drawn into a bigger concept of personal growth and mentorship with guest artists including Zwai Bala, Gift Gwe, Thembi Seete, Loyiso Bala and Lloyd Cele.
