Today is Embrace Your Inner Geekness Day which is why it should be okay to get a little carried away with gaming consoles and the latest mobile technology.
Many people use social media and the Internet regularly which is why almost everyone has an inner geek they have not discovered yet.
Being a geek does not necessarily require you to be smart but you need to watch the right movies as well.
If you have not released your inner geek yet and you would like to know how to become one, try these useful tips:
1. First you need to decide what kind of geek you want to be. You could be a book geek, manga, sci-fi or fantasy geek.
2. Read comical books.
3. Watch Star Trek or any science-fiction movie and know the autobiographies of the main characters.
4. Play video games and impersonate your favourite character.
Get into ‘geek mode’ by watching your favourite episode of The Big Bang Theory.
