Apcan Armed Response apprehended two suspects who allegedly robbed a liquor store at gun point in the Roodepoort CBD yesterday afternoon.
The security company responded to the scene after they were alerted about the robbery.
When they arrived, the suspects had already fled.
They checked the stores CCTV footage and started to search for the suspects.
Within five minutes, they spotted the suspects getting into a taxi and gave chase.
They pulled the taxi, which was full of commuters, off to the side of the road.
After searching the taxi, they found a firearm and detained the suspects until Roodepoort police arrived.
