Florida CPF get their bad guys

Two successes in one night.

Florida’s Sector Two Community Policing Forum (CPF) made four arrests this weekend including one where a victim was stabbed.

On Saturday they received a call for a business burglary in progress on the corner of Albertina Sisulu Road and Wandel Street.

When they arrived they secured the perimeter of the bottle store with the suspects still inside. The suspects then attempted to flee via the roof but was apprehended by the team. Four suspects in total were arrested and its believed they were also hijacking vehicles in the North of Johannesburg.

In the second incident the team was called out to a case of grievous bodily harm (GBH). On arrival they found the victim has been stabbed. They went to the suspects house and he tried to flee but with the help of Florida Police he was apprehended.

All the suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court soon.

The Florida Police indicated they would comment later.
