Day of fast for all Jews
We would like to wish all our Jewish readers a prosperous day ahead as they endure a day of fasting and mourning.
Today marks the fast of the 17th Hebrew month of Tammuz.
On the Fast of Tammuz, all Jewish people mourn the destruction of the Jewish temple that took place in Jerusalem about 2000 years ago.
They are expected to fast from sunrise until the moon is visible tonight.
They are not allowed to listen to music or participate in any form of entertainment such as watching television.
We would like to wish all our Jewish readers well over their fasting period.
