Woman potentially kidnapped in Witpoortjie

Woman selling newspapers last heard of after chilling call.

A female newspaper vendor disappeared yesterday while selling newspapers in Oranje Street in Witpoortjie.

The 36-year-old woman who lives in Munsieville, Marinda Labuschagne was last heard of when she phoned the newspaper driver six minutes after being dropped off at 6am saying “They are taking me”. She has has light ash blonde hair and was wearing a silver foil like jacket and blue jeans.

According to her husband Lappies she has been complaining the past three weeks about a man watching her when she was selling.

A case has been opened with the police.
