Young enthusiast writes book

21-year-old young woman proves that you are never too young to write a book.

“If I could choose to have any super power in the world, it would be persuasion so that I can convince anybody to do anything,” said 21-year-old book writer, Devina Buktwar.

Her wild imagination inspired her to write her book Forbidden Powers – Love is Torture. The book is about a teenage girl who discovers she has super powers. When her friends and family are targeted by a serial killer and she has to find a way to track him down while juggling school, her family and her love life.

Her book can be described as a love story infused with suspense.

Devina is a humble woman who knows what she wants in life and works toward getting it. “I set my goals high and I aim to achieve it.”

When she was asked about the challenges she may have faced while writing her book, she said,” I think the scariest thing I encountered was when I experienced writer’s block (when you cannot put your thoughts in writing and you end up crumpling the paper). Also, because my job and my studies kept me busy, I thought I would not finish my book.”

When talking to Devina, one can tell she is a go-getter especially when she talks about picking herself up after falling down.

“Even though I experienced certain challenges, I pushed myself to carry on.”

This is my first book of many more to come. I am currently working the remaining two novels for this trilogy as well as a love story.”

She encourages young people not to give up on their dreams.

“No matter how old you are, you can accomplish anything.”

Her book is available online at www.forbiddenpowers.com and will be available at book stores later in the year.
