Load shedding: Your weekend plan

The good news is that, while Block 3B (mostly Roodepoort) households and businesses were scheduled for load shedding today (Friday 26 June) from 10am til 2.30pm, Eskom didn’t implement load shedding during those time slots.

Residents that live in Block 3B are also exempt from load shedding tonight at stage 1, 2 or 3. Tomorrow (Saturday 27 June) and Sunday (28 June) also looks clear for 3B except if stage 3 is implemented from 2pm til 6.30pm.

Although Block 7B will not be affected by load shedding at any stage this afternoon and tonight, households are scheduled for load shedding at stages 1, 2 and 3 on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday and Sunday during stage 1 or 2 Block 7B households will be affected from 10am til 2.30pm and during stage 3 from 2am to 6.30am with a second time slot at 10am til 2.30pm.
