A world of adventure filled with educational and entertaining creatures opened at Sandton Convention Centre.

The Ice Age Exhibition, which kicked-off on 21 June, is literally an adventure waiting for you to explore with your family – especially children.

On 23 June, media representatives with their families, were treated to an exciting afternoon, where loads of activities were lined-up.

Some children were overwhelmed by the sight of the gigantic animal statues on display, while others marvelled at different sounds made by these

artificially created dinosaurs.

Ice Age Exhibition provides a world of educational information about the history of animals and human life dating back to early centuries.

The exhibition showcases different animals that simulate movements and sounds, making them look more believable.

Shelley Johnston at the expo remarked, “This is more fascinating for me as an adult too, because I never had a chance to explore so much during my school days.”

Children can enjoy different activities at reasonable prices such as, riding on slides, a virtual aquarium, face-painting stations, panda and polar bear carousel rides.

The exhibition will be open through the school holidays and bookings for school groups can be arranged with Ilani at: iceage@megatrav.co.za
