How pink is your love?

Associate yourself with the colour pink today as we celebrate National Pink Day today.

During October, the colour pink famously show support for breast cancer but today, we celebrate National Pink Day.

According to surveys, when pink is combined with violet or black, it is associated with eroticism and seduction.

However, when the colour is mixed with white and pale blue, it is associated with femininity, sensitivity, tenderness, childhood and romance.

In the 13th and 14 century, Jesus Christ’s son, was sometimes dressed in pink as the colour symbolised the body of Christ.

During the 19th century, pink ribbons were worn by young boys in England because they were considered small. Only the men were allowed to wear red uniforms.

If you are not wearing anything pink today, you can still celebrate by baking pink cupcakes or alternatively drinking a healthy strawberry smoothie.

Whatever you do, make sure it is pink.
