Two men are in a critical condition this morning after their vehicles collided head-on on the Mariasburg Road, says ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg West branch arrived on scene and found the two bakkies lying in the middle of the two lanes.
On assessment, paramedics found that both drivers had sustained critical injuries in the collision.
Paramedics carefully removed the patients from the vehicle before they were treated by advanced life support paramedics.
Once treated, they were immobilised and transported to Flora Clinic for urgent medical treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
