Community march for cancer

Good support from community.

Young and old braved the early morning winter chill this past Saturday to throw their weight behind a good cause.

More than a 120 community members joined the C3 Maraisburg church to march in order to raise awareness about cancer. The march which was organised by the church’s community service team saw the group marching five kilometers through Maraisburg in their pink T-shirts handing out pamphlets and talking to curious onlookers.

The effort was supported by the SABC Foundation, Metro Police, SAPS, Dunmar Security, Rademeyer Engineering Services and QPR Emergency Services.
