Both runners finish before cut-off time.

Unfortunately Maree had to withdraw on Tuesday due to sunstroke and dehydration. She rejoined Moller on Thursday but only as a support runner. Both woman ran the Comrades on Sunday with Moller finishing in 9:38 and Maree in 9:39.

The Record spoke to Moller this morning who was in a cheery mood. She said although she is stiff and sore that it was not so bad.

“I will not be running soon,” she laughed and added that her dog was waiting at the door to be taken for a walk.

“I might take him for a walk but we are definitely not going to run,” she said.

Moller said both woman are relieved it is over.
