Eskom has not announced any load shedding yet and block three, which is Roodepoort, will not experience stage one load shedding. Should Eskom announce stage two though Roodepoort will be veiled in darkness from 6pm until 10.30pm tonight.
The power supplier said the system is “vulnerable and constrained”.
In the meanwhile President Jacob Zuma made the dark prediction this week that the country would experience load shedding for the next three years. He cited all the new houses being build as the reason for his comment.
