Spar Women’s Challenge

SPAR is challenging women again.

The 2015 sPAR Women’s Challenge is upon us.

The media lauch of the Pretoria leg of the race will be hosted at the Atterbury Theater on 4 July.

The race is a five kilometre and 10 kilometre distance.

The annual event attacts more than 25 000 women who take to the streets of Pretoria. The race has seen South Africa’s elite female athletes such as Rene Kalmer and Irvette van Blerk set personal bests on a flat course. However, the10 kilometre route consists of three gradual climbs; otherwise. The last 2 kilometres to the finish line are downhill.

The 5km route is separate and takes participants through residential areas in Centurion.

Free T-shirts, medals and goodie bags will be given to all 25 000 entries. Online entries have now closed due to high demand.
