Residents can expect a weekend with the lights mostly on.
Roodepoort, which falls under City Power’s Block 3B, will experience no stage one load shedding on either Saturday or Sunday.
Should City Power go into stage two load shedding there will be load shedding from 2pm until 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Eskom said it is unlikely that stage three load shedding will occur this weekend.
