No passengers from the taxi sustained any injuries.

One man was injured this morning after a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided in Newlands this morning.

The incident occurred at the Italian and Brown Road intersection.

ER24 medics were swiftly on the scene and found an overturned light motor vehicle on the side of the road against the pavement.

They assessed the situation and discovered that a male patient lay inside the overturned vehicle.
