Man allegedly exposes himself to toddler, mother
The woman is opening a case with the Roodepoort Police.
A woman claims a man indecently exposed himself to her and her three-year-old toddler this afternoon.
She reportedly walks to her daughter’s crèche on CR Swart Road every afternoon in order to fetch her and today (Monday 18 May) was no different.
On their way back home from the crèche at around 1.45pm, the mother and daughter were approached by a man, the shaken woman said. He exposed himself to them.
“At first he walked with his hands by his side but as he approached us, his hands moved towards the front of his pants.
“He pulled the zip of his pants down and exposed himself while ogling us,” she told the Record.
She describes him as being in his mid-40s, with his long hair brushed back and wearing sunglasses. He reportedly wore a red checkered shirt and jeans.
Roodepoort Police spokesperson Nonhlanhla Khumalo said she is aware of the case and the police is investigating.
