GALLERY and VIDEO: New branding and saving lives at Maragon

RUIMSIG – Maragon Private Schools announce their new branding and challenge the school to save lives.

Maragon Private Schools have launched their shining new branding campaign.

In an assembly addressing the school in Ruimsig, a video was played creatively showcasing the new uniform and brand. First teams were used to display the new sports uniforms and for the primary school pupils to see something they could aspire too.

Head of drama Shaun Hansel said, “The concept was developed to find an interesting way to promote our external and internal marketing.” The assembly introduced the #MaragonPride to the school. This, according to them, can be used whenever they feel pride during school for instance a good grade, winning a rugby match or even being proud of their school.

The ever-expanding school also hosted a blood drive which was coordinated by math literature teacher Rose Armitage. Each unit, according to her, can save up to three lives and this is way this year they hope to collect 350 units of blood. “This is my absolute passion. We are trying to break last year’s record of coming sixth in Gauteng for the school with the most of units donated,” said Armitage.
