Miss and Mr Maragon chosen

Judges captivated on sensational night.

The annual Mr and Miss Maragon have been chosen on 23 April.

This year’s theme was ‘Rock the School’ and according to the school’s spokesperson, Belinda Espag it was a “sensational evening” with even the hosts, two teachers, giving performances.

Kyla Molatana was crowned Miss Pearl and Christopher Changfoot was awarded the title of Mr Pearl. Both Mr and Miss Pearl said they enjoyed the experience and that it was an opportunity for them to make friends and have a great deal of fun. The contestants emphasised that it was not about winning but rather about making new friends and realizing that “you only live once”.

The senior winners were second prince Richard Dixie and first prince David Rodriques. The second princess title went to Michaéla Wright while that of the first princess went to Tiffany Fisher.

Brandon Viera and Boitumelo Leshoeli were crowned Mr and Miss Maragon 2015 respectively. They said that the entire experience taught them more about themselves and helped them to believe in themselves.They both would like to use their titles as a platform to make a difference in the community and to set an example for others.
