A man is in critical condition following an accident on Golf Club Terrace near Joachim van Plettenberg Road, Constantia Kloof, on 28 April. Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer Santi Steinmann explained that Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a thirty-five-year-old cyclist had “rear-ended a light delivery vehicle with his bicycle”.
“Upon assessment of the injured cyclist, paramedics found that he had sustained critical injuries during the crash,” Steinmann said. “The injured man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required. The occupants of the light delivery vehicle were not injured during the accident. Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation”
