Video: More footage of ‘Audi’-gang

Victim believes gang jammed her car locks from a distance.

Another resident, Michelle Schreuder Rankin has come forward with footage of the ‘Audi’-gang that has been terrorising especially home businesses in Witpoortjie, Mindalore and Silverfields.

She suspects the gang jammed her car’s locks with a remote control.

This incident took place last week at the service station on the corner of Mimosa Street and Ruhama Avenue in Wilropark.

“They must have been watching me for a while. I stop at the garage every morning for a cup of coffee and I used to put my phone in my console, so its out of view, but you can see he walked straight to the car, lifted the console lid and took my phone and then looked for my laptop which was thankfully not in the car that day. This means they must have been watching me for a while,” Schreuder Rankin told the Record. “I travel with my young son, so the mere thought of them watching us every day really sent shivers down my spine. I now make sure that my locks are locked and I no longer depend on my car remote,” she said.

The Western Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) has confirmed another incident in which the gang has been involved in Ham Street and a reader saw the same car close to Helderblom Street in Krugersdorp.
