Steve Ashley is back on the scene

Steve Ashley is back to claim his spot on the hit list.

Steve Ashley has finally returned with a new album titled I’m Coming Home.

Steve is a former Staccatos member, one of South Africa’s most successful bands in the 80’s.

The bands hits include Cry to me, Butchers and Bakers.

He is currently preparing to perform at the Laerskool horison festival on 30 May. Steve is also busy with the Tom Jones and Solid Gold shows at local casinos in the city.

With years of live experience, he will entertain any audience who enjoy Solid Gold Hits 50’s to 90’s, Ballades, Country, Pop, Rock and some current songs.

Ashley not only has vast experience in music but television too.

In the 80’s he did the first Rock and Roll Revival Show with Dicky Loader for Percy van Rooyen as well as another Rock and Roll show with numerous top entertainers.He went on to do a three part TV series on the music of the Beatles.

Steve took a break from music in the 90’s to concentrate on his business until 2002 when he took the part of Tom Jones in the show called Sex Bombs at Carnival City. The show ran for 3 months for which he got great reviews.

His country version of the song Cry to Me was put on the C.D. “American Country Nashville Style” in 2010.

Just last year, Steve thrilled audiences with world class performances at the Hemmingway Casino in East London and the Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp.

He is also involved with the Heart Foundation and regularly does shows with Barry Hilton at Silverstar Casino.

“My voice is a gift from God and if He permits, I will keep on Singing and Entertaining to keeping people happy, after all that’s what it’s about,” he said.
