Lady Rocci hosted a Mad Hatter’s High Tea in support of the Kingsway Christian School at the Black Eagle Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre on 20 March.
Guests arrived in all sorts of colourful hats to support the cause and mingle with other like-minded business women. Guest speaker Hernus Botes from Maximum Profit Recovery gave an interesting talk on tax and keynote speaker Hilda Lunderstedt gave a motivational speech on empowering women to succeed in business.
There were also many giveaways, including makeovers and beauty treatments and in-between the formalities the fabulous Con Grazia entertained the crowd.
Non-perishable foods were donated and a total of R1 520 was raised for the school based in Randpark Ridge which includes the Kingsway Centre of Concern in Zandspruit and the Thandanani House of Refuge. The school’s fundraiser and cause leader Marelise Bekker said, ”Thank you so much for your generosity. I invite people to come visit us and I encourage you to get involved through Tekkie Tax and MySchool.”
The Kingsway Centre of Concern cares for about 300 socio-economically disadvantaged children.
