The tutor, William Massaguoi, of a supposedly free computer course will have to face an internal disciplinary hearing of the NG Kerk Witpoortjie after attendees complained about irregularities.
Dr. Japie Steyn, the dominee at the helm of the church, told the Record that the church had no choice but to summons Massaguoi to appear in front of a disciplinary committee.
Some of the accusations levelled against Massaguoi include allegedly telling course goers to clean toilets, charging them money for the free course and threatening students who disagreed with his way of conducting the course.
Steyn said the course has not been cancelled but only postponed pending the outcome of the hearing.
