Truck collision injures two men

Two men have sustained moderate injuries following a truck that collided with a wall at the Dorius and Totius intersection in Ruimsig this morning.

When ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg West branch arrived on the scene, they found the truck lying on its side against a wall. The injured men were lying on the grass next to the truck.

“Fortunately, no one had sustained any major injuries during the collision,” says ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring.

The patients were treated by paramedics on the scene and were taken to Flora Clinic to undergo additional tests.

The truck apparently experienced break failure which resulted in it colliding with the wall.

“Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further,” says Meiring.
