Missing person found unharmed

RADIOKOP — A resident is found safe and sound 8 days after he is reported missing.

A Radiokop resident that was reported missing on 3 February was found in Hospital on 11 February.

Constable Simphiwe Duma from the Honeydew Police said it was a relief that the man was found alive and that he was back at home.

“He had been in a car accident that landed him in hospital and unfortunately he had not communicated with his family members.”

Forty-year-old Stirling Jullian Stuart was reported on the Missing Children SA website on 3 February from his home in Etosha Radiokop.

Constable Duma said it is important that family members open the channels of communication regarding each other’s whereabouts to avoid the heartache of reporting a missing person.

“It also makes the job a little easier when a missing person’s report is filled out because family and friends play a role in helping us find someone that is missing,” he concluded.
