Visitors to the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden were surprised yesterday when a police helicopter landed in the middle of the garden.
According to spokesperson for the garden, Ronnie Tshabala the helicopter landed at about 2.30pm. The helicopter was in pursuit of two suspects but it is unknown where they fled from. Tshabala says the two suspects tried to blend in with the visitors but were apprehended by the police.
The Record is awaiting comment from the Honydew police.
