Ashleigh Gray was made the girl’s team captain while Tarryn Prew was made vice captain.

“Being a captain is an honour and a privilege,” said deputy principal Johan Aucamp.

He spoke about how sports captains need to earn the respect of their teams by performing well, making good decisions, maintaining discipline on and off the field, managing conflict, having an understanding and love for the game, and speaking and dressing appropriately, among other things.
