A royal parade

RADIOKOP — Junior College Snuggles put on a parade worthy of kings and queens.

The little pupils at Junior College Snuggles dressed up as kings and queens on 13 February as part their Valentine’s Day celebrations.

Kicking off the celebrations a day early, the theme was on loving yourself, family, school and friends.

“Today is international friendship day so we based our parade loosely on that. All the crowns and costumes had to be home-made in order to win, nothing store-bought. This is also a great way to encourage family time and participation at home,” said the school’s principal, Megan Hunt.

The winning kings and queens were given teddy bears with hearts to take home to their crafty moms and dads.
