First Ward 89 meeting for 2015

Residents in Ward 89 will be elated to hear that their first meeting for 2015 will take place on 19 February.

Councillor Ingrid Reinten explained that residents should mark the date in their diaries and attend the meeting.

“Public participation is very important at these meetings as we will share our 2015/2016 plans for the ward with the residents.”

The attendees at the meeting will be able to give their feedback about the planning and what they expect from the various entities.

She added, “The public will also be able to give feedback about service delivery and things that still need to be done in their suburbs with regards to things like water and electricity. We will also introduce the resident association chairpersons.”

The meeting is scheduled to take place on 19 February at the Roodepoort Civic Centre in the Enkundlini Room on the third level at 6pm.
