Motorcyclist injured in Randpark Ridge

A motorcyclist was injured after falling off his bike on Dale Lace Avenue, Randpark Ridge, on 28 January.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the motorcyclist tried to stop to avoid a motor vehicle pulling out of a driveway, when wet road conditions caused his motorcycle to slip on the road causing him to come off the motorcycle,” said Netcare spokesperson Santi Steinman.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived and found the man with moderate injuries. He was treated by the paramedics, and then transported to hospital for further care. The motor vehicle driver sustained no injuries.
