Keep orange peel at bay

HONEYDEW — With modern technology, the 2015 woman can really have it all.

It goes without saying that the modern day woman deals with more than enough on her plate.

With daily struggles to “do it all” and look good while doing it, something out of control such as cellulite or orange peel should not stop you on your way to glamourville.

Dr Natela Rekhviashvili, co-founder of the Radience for You Centre, assures all South African women that we can do something about those little dimples on our derrière.

“SA women can now reduce cellulite with Velashape – which uses skin tightening. This has been used in Hollywood and the film industry and the technology is availabe for South African women.”

Dr Rekhviashvil added that regular excercise and healthy eating habits are key to reducing orange peel. More than 90 per cent of women have cellulite to some degree and can even affect the slimmest of females.

She continues, ”Unfortunately, cellulite gets worse when we put on weight, and also as we age, due to hormonal changes, increased water retention, poor circulation, decrease in metabolic rates and the loss of skin elasticity.”

Using a food and Drugs Administration (FDA) approved system helps with the reduction in the appearance of cellulite and the circumference of the treated area. Using vacuum suction and heat therapy, you are on your way to strutting it in your bikini.

“Just as modern medicine has found a way to reduce the impact of fine lines and wrinkles on our faces, so too has modern technology found a way to lessen the impact of cellulite on our bodies. While we might not be able to eliminate it entirely, we can improve it immensely,” Dr Rekhviashvil concludes.
