Muldersdrift SAPS second best in Gauteng

MULDERSDRIFT – SAPS get high recognition and turn around the horrific crime stats.

It goes to show that a community that works together can instill positive change in the fight against crime.

Mulderdrift Police was recently rated the second best station in Gauteng for their drastic reaction in crime in recent months.

Spokesperson for Mulsdersdrift Police Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya said the recent success can be attributed to the dedicated police members and community members.

“This really means a lot to us. It shows that our members are committed and the station manager is on par with community members. Everyone played a part in the success. Our police officers and cluster officers all played a role in motivating members to be vigilant in their community.”

Muldersdrift CPF chairman Jorncy Paige noted that the Muldersdrift Station was rated as the second last station in December, but that number has dramatically turned around in previous months.

The Muldersdrift community is the true example of the positive change that can be brought when community members work together with their police officials and security companies against one common threat: crime.
