JOBURG – AFCON tournament starts on 19 January and expectations are high for Bafana Bafana to bring the cup home.

As Bafana Bafana prepares to compete in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament (AFCON) South Africans have mixed emotions on the outcome.

To prepare for this spectacle, Bafana Bafana started training on 2 January.

The team played ten games in preparation and won eight of those while drawing on the other.

But will this winning streak continue in Africa’s biggest soccer competition?

Besides the No 1- ranked Algeria whom they meet in their opener on 19 January, Bafana Bafana will also lock horns with Senegal on 23 January and Ghana on 27 January.
