First domestic watch meeting for 2015

WELTEVREDEN PARK – CPF chairperson says domestic workers from all over are all welcome to attend the Domestic Watch meeting.

The new year is already well under way and the Sector 2 CPF will hold its first Domestic Watch meeting on 22 January.

Sector 2 CPF chairman Neville Burnett explained that the committee made the decision to hold the first meeting in January to start the year off on a high with the domestic workers.

“Safety is always a concern and our meetings focus on how domestic workers can make the houses they work at safer by being more vigilant.”

Burnett added that although the meeting is arranged for domestics from the different resident associations in the area. Any other domestic workers who live outside the area are also more than welcome to attend.

“The meeting will take place on 22 January at the Weltevreden Pre-Primary School in Krinkhout Avenue and it will start promptly at 4pm. The CPF is still on the lookout for an individual or business to come and sponsor the cold drinks and food. So anyone who is interested can contact me directly,” concluded Burnett.
