Honeydew Police are on the lookout for 10 armed suspects who allegedly robbed the Weltevreden Park Spar recently. According to spokesperson Warrant officer Karen Jacobs, a group of 10 armed suspects stormed into the business on Wednesday 7 January just after 7pm. “Customers and employees were held up and an undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery,” said WO Jacobs. She said only one of the staff members sustained slight injuries and no shots were fired. “The suspects fled in a White Nissan Qashqai and a Grey Golf 5,” added WO Jacobs. A case of business robbery is being investigated by the Honeydew Detective Services and anyone with information is requested to contact the investigating officer Constable Godfrey Mabasa: 073 415 0692.
