Although Eskom kept their promise of not load shedding over the festive season, consumers can brace themselves for another month of load shedding.
The electricity supplier did promise not to load shed in December but warned that the first three months of 2015 would be tough with as many as 30 days of load shedding.
Currently the City Power website’s schedules page is slightly confusing with both the load shedding schedule and planned outages schedule clearly stating in bold red letters ‘We are currently not load shedding’ yet if a suburb is typed into the search function it clearly shows the dates and times load shedding will take place.
City Power could not be reached for comment.
