Man in serious condition after colission

A man,believed to be in his 30s, sustained serious injuries after he collided with a vehicle on Gordon Road this morning 23 December.

ER24 Spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said the driver of the vehicle allegedly turned into a slipway when the car collided with the bicycle. He said the driver of the car sustained minor injuries.

“The cyclist was taken to Helen Joseph Hospital for treatment for multiple fractures and the driver of the car was taken to Life Flora Clinic with minor injuries,” Rossouw said and added that the cause of the collision is still unknown, but authorities are investigating.
