SPCA needs gift-wrapping volunteers

ROODEPOORT – Support the SPCA's gift wrap stalls at Westgate Shopping Centre and donate to help animals over the festive period.

Before the festive season kicks off gifts will have to be wrapped and Roodepoort SPCA has the perfect solution.

The organisation decided to put up two stalls inside the Westgate Shopping Centre, according to fundraising manager Nicole Manners, one of the stalls will be in front of the Pick-n-Pay and the second one in front of the Toys R Us shop.

“The purpose of these stalls are so that we can help the community to wrap their gifts in exchange for a small donation.”

She explained that the donation will be used by the SPCA over the festive period to buy food for the animals and equipment and tools for the workers.

“The only thing we still need is volunteers because the stall will be open from 13 December right through to the 24 December. If anyone wants to volunteer for a four- hour shift they can give me a call,” concluded Manners.
