Concerned community man Johan Frederik Lee released a fifth video in a serious of crime prevention tip videos. In this one, he teams up with security expert Cecil Swart to give tips about cell phone and traffic safety as well as pellet guns and gas pistols.
In the video, Cecil Swart warns residents to be careful about when they send sms’s to friends and family.
“Most of us start our vehicles in the mornings, open the garage and gate and then quickly send an sms to a friend or family member.
“This is no time for social media and communication — send your messages before you get into your vehicle, and don’t work with your cellphone in traffic, you’re making yourself very vulnerable for an attack or hijacking.”
Lee warns about buying children pellet guns and pistols for Christmas and discusses gun safety.
“Most of these pellet guns and gas pistols are capable of killing someone, and you do not want that pinned on your innocent child,” he says.
