The South African National Blood Service officially launched its Florida branch this weekend. The Beacon Road Donor Center located in Beacon Road has state of the art equipment to ensure the utmost comfort for blood donors.
Collection manager Beauty Mabaso was on hand to cut the ribbon and was joined by Head of marketing Debbie Forster and non-executive director Getty Simelane.
Mabaso said she was excited with the launch and hoped the center will grow and become a success.
“We want the community to support us so this launch is to create awareness about our new offices. The blood bank is not meeting it’s targets especially during this busy time of the year,” said Mabaso.
