Although putt-putt developer Rupert September has repeatedly claimed to be the ANC spokesperson for Zone 6, the ANC has now strongly denied this.
Zonal Secretary, Lawrence Moshwane states in an email to the record “The ANC in Zone 6 would like to place on record that September is not the spokesperson of the ANC in our zone. He is not even a Member of the Executive Committee of the ANC in Ward 70 called the Fleurhof branch. He does not speak on behalf of the ANC in any structure. As far as we know he is an ordinary member of the branch in Ward 70.”
Moshwane concludes by saying “The ANC would like to state categorically that it has got nothing to do with that project (the putt-putt development).”
