WIN! Table for 10 at the Barnyard

The 80s and 90s Pop Culture is rampant in our lives today, but when it comes to music - which decade rocked our worlds the most?

One lucky reader can stand the the chance to win a Party for 10 at the fantastic 80s and 90s show currently on at the new Barnyard Theatre at Cresta.

80s vs 90s is a fun look at both decades and a musical roller coaster for the audience. The talented cast revive songs from both decades, together with two hilarious hosts who are each fanatical about their favourite era! The eighties saw the emergence of new wave and electronic pop, the nineties experienced grunge and hip hop music while rock music remained popular in both decades. We start off with male versus female pop stars.

The eighties strike back with Don’t Stop Believing by Journey, Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler and Up Where We Belong by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes. The competition gets hotter when we challenge songs from the movies with everything from Dirty Dancing, Footloose and Danger Zone from the eighties, to Men in Black, Circle of Life and Gangsta’s Paradise from the nineties. After flirting with girl and boy bands such as Bananarama taking on the Spice Girls and Boyz II Men, we head for an all-out icon showdown! How will the icons from the seventies who made it big in the eighties take on the icons from the eighties who made it big in the nineties?
