The family of Stephan ‘Oupa Boet’ Petzer wishes him a happy 80th birthday, which the family celebrated on 13 November.
Stephanus Petrus Petzer was born on 13 November 1934 in Fontainebleau in Randburg.
“Oupa Boet grew up, lived and raised his five children in Roodepoort,” said granddaughter Celeste Groenewald.
“He is enjoying his retired life at the Donovan McDonald Old Age Home in Maraisburg.
“This man is a great-grandfather, grandfather, father and husband to his proud family,” Groenewald said.
“He has been married to our grandmother Rykie Petzer for almost 57 years,” she said.
“Oupa Boet, the 80 candles that we light up on your birthday can not be compared to the love and light that you give all of us.
“Your life is an open book of fine, God-fearing and loving examples, happy birthday from all of us.”
