Come one come all for a good cause

RUIMSIG — The Gateway Society invites you to a market fun day that will certainly make a difference in people's lives

The gates will be open to all members of the community on 29 November for the Gateway Market Day.

From 9am until much later in the afternoon, parents and their little ones can enjoy a day out as well as the entertainment on offer while snacking on delicious treats for sale.

Gateway fundraising manager Chanelle Bekker encourages every person to pull through and make a difference to the residents at Gateway. “There will a lot of entertainment for everyone, a vintage car display and stalls all around where you can buy something that will go toward the upkeep of our society. We will also introduce the Cup-a-Cancer campaign,” said Bekker enthusiastically.

With the Cup-a-cancer campaign, you buy a cup for R55 and get a free cup of coffee and muffins. All the proceeds from that will go toward Gateway and cancer research.

Your little ones will be treated to games, face painting and rides while you kick back and enjoy a cup of coffee. Stalls will be set up where yummy treats will be sold, as well as crafts or better yet, buy grass for the school’s sports field.
